The London Dungeon

Based upon carefully reasearched historical facts, a series of life-size tableaux depicting superstition, torture and death in spine chilling detail. See the guillotine working and the beheading of a victim. Watch out you don't get splashed with blood! The picture here depicts a scene from the ú1 million spectacular, 'The Jack the Ripper Experience', Between 31st August and 9th November 1888 in the east End of London, there occurred a series of murders so gruesome, so evil that they outraged the entire nation. The killer was never found, but from those days onward, he has been known as 'Jack The Ripper'.

Who was he? Where did he come from? Dare you come and retrace the bloody steps of the most infamous serial killer of all time?

The Dungeon has now added serveral new exhibits from across Europe, including French 'headcrushers', Spanish 'garrotters', and the stomach-churning 'Supplice du Rat' which as you might gather involves a bizarre form of rat torture!
